Why SERVPRO- We Are IICRC Trained Restoration Specialists
Our staff here at SERVPRO of East Greenville County are highly trained in the restoration process. Not only do they go through corporate training, they also receive IIRC industry certifications. Each one of our technicians goes through an extensive training program including:
- IIRC Training: The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification certifies and sets standards for the cleaning and restoration industries. Our technicians study these standards and the best practices in water, fire, and mold mitigation as well as carpet and upholstery cleaning.
- Employee Certification Training: This is a self-paced program designed specifically for SERVPRO technicians. It covers crew training, fire restoration, water restoration, and carpet and upholstery cleaning. Once the technician completes this training they are awarded certification.
- Initial Franchise Training: This is a 15-day hands-on course offered at our SERVPRO Corporate Training Facility and is the foundation of the SERVPRO training program. During this program our technicians are trained on fire restoration, water restoration, mold mitigation, and carpet and upholstery cleaning.
- E-Learnings: Every member of our staff has access to web-based training. This is a voluntary, and self-paced program that focuses on coaching our employees. Videos and trainings are followed by knowledge test at the end of each module. This allows our staff and technicians to stay up to speed on all industry standards.
